A Purdue University Krannert School of Management graduate, Kim took an Art and Design class every semester to develop her passion for art. Now that Kim's children have flown the nest, she is thrilled to be able to dive into her painting passion in this next phase of her life. Kim has studied painting in workshops with Southwest Florida artists Mary Parkman and Theresa Girard. Indianapolis area instruction has included Randall Scott Harden, Pam Newell, Rita Spalding and Penny Roberson. Kim's goal is to help spread a bit of beauty into our everyday busy lives. Kim has had work juried into the Richmond Museum of Art's annual show of Indiana and Ohio artists. Her bird art has been juried into the "Open Spaces - Art About the Land" traveling Indiana exhibit and the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival. One of Kim's favorite pieces titled "Covid Girl" received Honorable Mention from the Indiana Artist Network. In addition to Art on Main, Kim has work offered at High Frequency Arts Gallery in Fishers and at Maggie's Hoosier Marketplace which takes place during the Indianapolis Annual Decorators' Show House and Gardens, with proceeds to benefit Eskenazi Health.
