Lisa Pelo, Hot Blown Glass, Ltd, located in Clayton, creates blown glass, slumped and fused glass, cast glass, and metal sculpture. She earned a BFA-specialty in glass at Bowling Green State University, Ohio.

As a child, Lisa was always creating- taking art classes all through the year and continuing through college. She bought different mediums just to experiment with. She worked at an art supply store to try an even wider assortment of materials especially when she first moved to IN and there was no Hot Shop to work in. Lisa was a florist and worked artistically with flowers, colors and compositions. After the Hot Shop at Indianapolis Art Center opened, she spent time working there. She has spent subsequent years acquiring hot shop and cold shop equipment and putting together a home studio in Clayton.

Hot Blown Glass Studio and Gallery offers year round glass classes,
lessons, glass workshops, has studio rental and steel fabricating workshops.

Pursuits outside of art/studio/work are Dog rescue: taking in, fostering/rehabbing dogs in need of a home and addressing domestic animal cruelty and neglect.
