My name is Monte Young and I’m a potter making traditional functional pottery firing in a 65 cubic foot wood fired kiln over a 40-50 hour period using glazes and flashing slips.

I’m an “Indiana Artisan” living outside Jasper Indiana with my wife and 2 dogs making pots in a basement studio with the wood kilns just steps away.

I make approximately 600-700 pots yearly and want my work to be used on a daily basis in your home.
