Guest Artist Jerry Points
Points' paintings have been recognized with honors from the Hoosier Salon, Indiana Heritage, and Indiana Artists exhibitions. His entries in the Hoosier Salon have won "Best Impressionistic Landscape," "Best Dynamic Landscape" and, in 2005, his entry was selected by the Indiana State Museum for their permanent collection. Recently, his painting, "Rainbow Woods" was purchased for inclusion in the Greater Lafayette Museum's permanent collection. In 2017 he received Best of Show at the Indiana Artists Exhibition, held at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The paintings featured in this exhibit are selections from the past five years.
Fine Art Photographer, Marie Reamer
Marie has been exhibiting and selling her photographs in the Arts & Design District and other areas of Indiana for over 12 years. Her work has been accepted into numerous juried exhibits and various art fairs in the area. In 2013 she was accepted as an Indiana Artisan. In this exhibit, Marie is returning to her roots, Black and White Photography, which began in the darkroom in college. Although she turned to color photography after several years, she periodically returned to her first experience in photography. In this exhibit, “Paris Revisited in Black White”, Marie revisits photographs from several trips to her favorite city, Paris, and presents them in 256 shades of gray.
